Meet Denise Santisteban, she/her

Story Artist

Denise Santisteban has been telling stories, in public, for four years. She has been working in performing arts her entire life and is committed to what arts and culture bring to our communities and how it enriches them.

As part of the team at the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, Denise manages the Tours and Storytelling Program. This past summer she created a virtual program called Dinner Stories for the Festival. Prior to that she was a stage and production manager in the San Francisco bay area and has always loved how stories on the stage could touch and enhance people’s lives.

Denise is a member of the Institute Library Story Sharing Group and has told at Tellabrations, The Mouth Off, Songs and Stories, New Haven Storytellers, and Story City Troupe.
